AUDITIONS: March 21st

10:30 AM Check-In, 11 AM Audition: Ages 7-10 (Beginner/Intermediate or Coomer Ballet levels Ballet 1-2)

12:30 PM Check-In, 1 PM Audition: Ages 11-18 (Intermediate/Advanced or Coomer Ballet levels Ballet 3 & up)

Audition Requirements- Girls should wear a solid black leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes. Hair should be neatly secured in a bun. Dancers aged 11 and up may be asked to wear pointe shoes at the end of the audition. Boys should wear a white shirt, black dance pants or tights, white socks, and black ballet shoes.

Dancers who cannot attend auditions will need to send in video auditions. Dancers will be evaluated for placement in either our mini-intensive or pre-professional intensive depending on technique, age, and focus.

Train with our highly qualified faculty, along with special guest teachers, at our Summer Ballet Intensive.

Dancers of all levels from Pearland, Houston, and the surrounding areas are invited to participate. The focus will be on classical ballet, contemporary dance, improvisation, and body conditioning. Additional classes will cover nutrition and injury prevention.

Intensive Dates: Week 1: June 15-19 & Week 2: June 22-26

Pre-Professional Summer Intensive Fees (Ballet 3 and up) -One Week only: $595 -Both Weeks: $1,015

Monday through Friday, 9:30 am - 4:30 pm. The studio will open at 9:15 am each day and dancers must be picked up by 4:45 pm—early drop-off and late pick up available for an additional charge. (Intermediate/Advanced Levels) Fees include Summer Intensive shirt.

Summer Mini-Intensive Fees (Ballet 1 through Ballet 2) -One Week only: $ 425 -Both Weeks: $720

Monday through Friday, 9:30 am - 2:30 pm. The studio will open at 9:15 am each day and dancers must be picked up by 2:45 pm—early drop-off and late pick up available for an additional charge. (Beginner/Intermediate Levels) Fees include Summer Intensive shirt.

-Fees are due in 2 installments. May 11 & June 1. Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable as space is limited.

-All ballet students ages 7 to 18 years old are welcome to audition. (Coomer Ballet students in Ballet 1 and above or equivalent.)

Lunch: Dancers are required to bring their lunches and snacks. All food must be peanut-free. Bring a refillable water bottle, as we have a water-filling station. Water bottles are also available for purchase for $1 each. Lunch break will be around noon each day. A detailed schedule will be available.

Intensive Attire: Girls must wear any solid-color leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes. Dancers can wear skin-tone tights and shoes but they must match. Pink pointe shoes if on pointe. Black or white practice tutu (not required but can be purchased through Coomer Ballet). Hair in a secured and neat bun. No jewelry, watches, or Fitbits. Boys must wear a white t-shirt, black tights/pants, white socks, and black or white ballet shoes.

Schedules: The dancer’s schedule will be posted the day before.

In-studio Showcase: On Friday of both weeks, we will hold an in-studio performance for family to watch. Parents are also welcome to watch the technique class on Friday morning. Dancers should wear a black leotard for the showcase. Other dancewear may be requested by our instructors.
