Dress Code 2026-2027:
Dress code is a vital part of every dancer’s training, designed to promote unity, discipline, and focus while allowing instructors to effectively assess and correct technique.
During the summer session, dancers may wear any color/style of leotards, as level-specific attire is not required. However, pink tights remain mandatory for ballet, and Ballet 1 and above dancers must have their hair in a bun. Proper dance shoes are still required for all classes.
General Guidelines:
Jewelry is not permitted, except for small stud earrings. Dangling earrings and hoops are strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
Necklaces, bracelets, watches, and Fitbits/fitness trackers are not allowed.
Dancers who do not adhere to the dress code will not be permitted to participate in class.
Label all dancewear and shoes with your child’s name.
Razzle Dazzle Dancewear in Pearland Town Center has our dress code on file. If you let them know you are a student at Coomer Ballet Conservatory and your child’s class/level, they’ll be able to provide you with the correct attire.
Do not buy shoes from Target, Amazon, Academy, or Walmart, as they are often the wrong color, uncomfortable, and poorly fitting. We highly recommend purchasing them from a dancewear store.
Dancers must be in proper dress code no later than September 1st.
